Technical Accountant

Our company is looking for a Technical Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

•       You'll produce impact assessments and to support implementation activities in the following areas:

         •       Accounting standards
         •       Financial services and regulatory developments, including Solvency II

•       You'll undertake technical review of:
         •       Group annual report and accounts
         •       Group half year and quarterly announcements
         •       Entity financial statementsRegulatory reports
         •       Other external reports
         •       Quarterly Solvency II QRTs and valuation adjustments

•       You'll need to ensure that the Group accounting manuals are maintained following accounting and regulatory developments

•       You'll oversee specific Group technical accounting entries

Requirements:

•       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

•       CPA or CIA designation preferred

•       5+ years experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in insurance accounting

•       Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS

•       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

•       Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines

•       Highly detail-oriented and organized
