Founder and Chairman

  • Built an evergreen fund with a global portfolio of more than US$30 billion, invested across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
  • Chairs the Charles Huang Foundation, a nonprofit that supports health research and education. Its gifts include US$70 million to the University of Strathclyde.
  • Holds a Ph.D. in marketing and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.

  • Has more than 15 years of experience in business management and cross-border operations, seven of them in insurance.
  • Oversees corporate operations and governance, and coordinates regulatory compliance. Has hands-on experience setting up insurance companies and obtaining their licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Holds a master’s degree from the Communication University of China and is a Ph.D. candidate at Tsinghua University.

  • Has directed research teams in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
